Worship and Music

Worship

Our Sunday morning worship starts at 10 o'clock and continues for about 1 hour and 15 minutes. At present, our church is in the process of searching for a new minister. In the meantime, our services are led by a team which includes Rev. Scott Patton, Rev. Ron Couglin, Jamie Crooks, Bruce Gilbert and others. Communion is celebrated usually once a month. At this time, there is no regular Sunday School. However, periodically a Messy Church is organized on a Friday evening for the children and youth.

Please join us on our faith journey as we worship God and strive by the Spirit, to live in the world with love and humility following the way of Jesus. May God bless you.

Music

We are very fortunate to have an excellent choir to lead us in our hymn singing. Under the guidance of our Choir Director, Maryse Simard, the choir performs many varied types of music such as liturgies, introits, and anthems in addition to the hymns. Maryse is also a superb organist. With our beautiful pipe organ, Maryse inspires the congregation with her beautiful music. Indeed, nobody moves from their seats until Maryse has finished the final musical piece for which she invariably receives a loud ovation. Periodically during the service, Maryse will move to the piano to accompany the hymns. On occasion, other members will participate by playing other instruments.

The choir members are always looking for others to join them. Choir practices are usually held at the church from September to June on Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. If you would like to join them, they would be happy to have you.
